Ardent Engineering have partnered with 1944 established industry-leader Tom Chandley Bakery Engineers, who bring decades of experience in manufacturing quality bakery ovens from their plant in the heart of the UK Northern Powerhouse, Manchester.
he Bakers Mate founding management team, with Sam (centre) of Philps BakeryCornwall.  Philps have been using a number of the original Vectair ovens in their East Quay shop to bake their famous pasties and have now added a next-generation Vectair Oven from The Baker's Mate.  The ovens are maintained by Geoff Roberts Catering Engineer whom is The Baker's Mate approved sales/service agent for the South West.

Weegmanns of Otley have replaced their old Vectair oven with a new one from The Baker's Mate.  As well as providing the baking quality required to achieve the correct finish for their award-winning pork pies, the new oven's consistency across trays saves their craft bakers time because they no longer have to cycle the trays.  Another endorsement for the craft baker, if you are serious about your baking, this oven is for you!
Craig Bradley, proprietor of Lund Butchers has recently had a new The Baker's Mate 12-Tray Vectair oven take pride of place in his new Bakehouse in their Keighley premises.  The new oven replaced an old Hi Tech Vectair oven that had given stirling service for a few decades.  Craig remarked that his new oven bakes their pork pies "perfectly".  The features on the new oven have been aimed at increasing the baking consistency and providing critical temperature control.
